New job, Get togethers and More!

So its been a while since I have done this and so much has happened, especially at the end of this blog. I have been going GEOCACHING which is so much fun I am going to have to keep it up. It is a scavenger hunt with a portable GPS, what you do is go and plug in the caches you want to do and then leave. You have to do it on a day when not a lot is going on because it is so addictive and kills your day. However it is a blast, and its like a whole new world inside our world. You have to find these caches and they can be pretty difficult.

I finally saw the movie Twilight I was not sure if I wanted to see it because I didnt really remember the previews for it, but my brother had been begging me to see it. I read a friends blog and decided well if she liked it then I was sure I would. So I watched it and then watched it again and now I am reading the books. It is so good, I have always liked to read but these books I am having to force myself to put down its crazy. I can not wait until the rest of the movies come out.

Moving on I went on an interview last week at Disney world and was hired on the spot, which I thought was normal since Disney is huge and probably would have a high turn over rate. However when I went in the HR room there were about 10 other people and they asked me how long I had been on the waiting list. Having no clue what they were talking about I informed them that I had just applied last week , my interview was today and I was hired. You should have seen the looks as they began to tell me how most of them had been trying to get on at least part time since October and some since December. So I was pleased since I have been out of work for a while now. However I would soon decided that I would not be taking that job.

My family reunion was this past weekend in Georgia just below Macon and as usual it was a blast. This year is the first time I ever remember it raining the entire time and we truly almost floated away. However it just forced us to be in cabins a little more, which turned out to be even funnier than ever. We always roll egg rolls the first night I have an uncle from Vietnam and it is something that he loves to make and we love to eat. However we make 300 of them so we all pitch in to roll and stuff them. After that we play games or go cabin to cabin seeing everyone and catching up. This year was the first year without my Gram-Gram(grandma) so it was heart breaking. My siblings and I stayed in the cabin with my aunt who lived with her as she thought she would be all alone. However she soon found out that people flocked to our cabin and she would have to go outside or somewhere else just to even think about being alone. The first night we stayed up until 1:30 playing Nerk - scrabble slam- and Apples to Apples with a couple of aunts and cousins. Saturday we got up and had to look at my sisters 8 layer Carmel cake which was pure torture as we had to smell it the night before. My sister has an amazing talent in her cake making. Finally around 11 we went to the pavilion where we spend most of our day and began to set up the food and all that jazz. That night I introduced my family to a game called Mafia and another one we were up way to late and having way to much fun it was a complete blast.

So it was back to reality Monday and I was getting ready to start at Disney today, but I started doing the math on how many hours I would be working with what I got paid and the miles I had to drive. Guess what it didnt add up after 80 miles on my car a day and 25 hours a week I would only have $2 left to my name after my bills were paid and none of which included gas or food. I dont know why I waited so long. I still had been job hunting as I knew I would need more money but not alot was going on. I started thinking what the crap am I doing down here, I mean the hospital job fell through and although I have applied to 18 different positions nothing, and then I found out that I could not get financial aid for school because I made to much money and I would have to give them $4000 before I could start. So now I am down here, away from most of my family, and although it is nice down here and I have had a blast. I am struggling , I can not find a church that I want to keep going to and nothing is going how it is suppose to. So such is life right. So I decided that you know what I am not happy here and I am going to go where I am. I found a job that I start Monday in Loganville Georgia, that is where I will be settling and staying , working and keeping to push towards my goals. I will be able to pay my bills with no help and that includes gas and food. So I will be moving this Friday back home. I am so excited and can not wait.
